But never mind the music... THAT DRESS!!! Out of this world fantastic Smile

Another thing is her hair - it's simple, suits the dance and she looks a million dollars. That dress is exquisite

39. I remember being proper angry with C.raig. What more did he want?! That was the week we got a funky leader board whereby whatever happened, Tom couldn't escape the dance off so they cancelled it and carried the votes over. Such drama!

I'd be outraged if only I could spell it.  Evil or Very Mad

She did more intricate footwork in that one dance than most the other ATs throughout several seasons.
Yes it's Vin cent's specialty but she still had to try and keep up with him and by jingo she did with bells on. Looking forward to seeing her dance again in the Christmas Special

Just to bump this thread up and wonder what dances from this series fit into the classic dances category?

I did enjoy the Star Wars dance theme! Had a little bit of Chris and O.la/Tom and Camilla's show dance joire de vivre about it

Austin's Paso, memorable for his wrong shout of "ole" but a fine effort with Erin.

Yes - Georgia was superb. Watching again I'd say she'd got the whole characterisation better than Giovanni even. And amazing routine and performance

Can I throw in Ian Waite's Regency Waltz, a la Pride and Prejudice? Gee, I've forgotten who he danced it with, but it was so elegant and classy. Clever stuff from Ian. Loved it.

Edit, it was Jodie Kidd.

Wasn't it. Can't find the comments now but three judges loved it and C raig, that macho muscle man of terpsichery decribed it as "too Mills and Boon" for him. I used a few expressions that would have made Jane Austen's hair curl in describing him, believe me. Evil or Very Mad

Ooh - I see that Erin used to wear long gloves a lot in ballroom. I think that needs to be revived... Wardrobe - get on it!

Just thought I'd bump this thread up as the first dance of this series I feel worthy of this thread is this:-

Great dance by Ore. Looks like he could be a real contender.

Last night Danny Mac's Quickstep was superb. It would probably scooped more tens if it had ended the show and cut out the faffing about at the start.

Ore's Jive was the defining moment that he flung his hat in the ring as a real contender to Danny Mac:-

Two great choices! Ore and Danny should be joint top of the leaderboard this week. Danny's QS was so technically accomplished and for the first time I feel he was enjoying the routine. Ore is just a revelation in this jive. Can't believe the number of kicks and flicks, I lost count after 35...
