Some people have stayed pretty much constant between weeks 1 and 2, but the notable ones are the dramatic rise by Chris, and demise of Mike and David

I can't do maths, but I find stats infinitely interesting in a slightly boggled way..

I did find it noteworthy that Catherine has been going down fractionally for the last 3 weeks - her highest score was in week 3 and she has been sliding downhill ever since.

Chris is also decreasing, though he is still ahead of Alex cummalatively. But Alex is increasing by a lot (but fear she may go back down next week...). I will watch that with interest.

I would also be interested to see Stacey's first few week's scores. I have a dim memory that they kept getting 25 or 27 or something. Or was that someone else? Anyway, I was just wanting to compare her J word with the likes of the two Emmas and Alex...

Didn;t discover anything of significance though. Just a rant from me about my two perennial favourite topics! (No-one goes home until the semis idea and Halloween is ugly... I never change! )

Chris is total is actually 135 and not 158.

Loving the stats thank you.... I'm hoping we may get a m8ddle runner break through to the top two soon. It seems so far a one way ticket for Kelvin to lift glitter ball unless of course he comes down with a horrible unsightly condition known as covered from head to toe in clothes & dancing in a box! To prevent: Silver tongued Italian Stallion, Shirley from screaming "here's the ball have it! now flash us your pecs

At present those in mid-division that may make that surge could be Alex. Saffron is just not polished enough yet for me whilst Emma B and Emma W are like Catherine lacking the ability to really let it all go and attack. Will perhaps has an outside chance but again not quite polished enough. Michelle Visage has impressed greatly but popularity (or lack of it with the British public) will be her death knell for me.

CC - I agree with you that there is a question mark over the longevity of Michelle - given the history of Americans on the show (with the exception of Ashley Roberts) however, she is getting the votes thus far and if she can continue to wow like she did at the weekend then I think at this point she is the only female who is challenging for a place up there.

I think that Saffron has potential at this point. Alex at this point seems popular with voters as she got through on some dodgy dances/tunes - there is no doubt that her confidence has increased but not sure how she will do when back doing traditional ballroom or latin. I say 'at this point' because I think all the other females are 'hovering' and could or could not break through - in fact most of the contestants are 'hovering' for me at this point , added to that its proving to be an 'up and down' year so far in respect of who goes and who gets kept in - so I don't want to make any predictions as one dodgy week can see anyone out.

I'll go against the grain and predict the two Emmas' will surge ahead behind Kelvin and Karim. I have been known t be wrong..

They will need to lose their inhibitions first and I fear it has gone so long that if they haven't managed it by now then they won't at all. It is a trait seen in previous female celebs such as Naga Munchetty, Victoria Pendleton, Catherine Tyldesley etc etc etc.
