Dance off = Brian vs Chizzy

Judges 3:1 save Brian

Chizzy eliminated

Too much faffing and not enough dance content. .. If judges are only judging on that nights performance & not potential for coming weeks then correct choice made. Brian had more dance content ok not great but it was there. L.en would have had a h8ssy fit at all the posing/acting/faffing around going on with Chizzy & Pasha....

A few things cost Chizzy. Far too much faffing at the start, Pasha's choreography coupled with Chizzy's over-enthudsiam made what tgere was of their dance hard to recognise as a Foxtrot. Brian did a lot of dad dancing but there was some not bad content and he caught flavour of dance fractionally better.

It is always sad to see someone go who is enjoying their Strictly experience so much but the judging must be done on dance alone.

It's the sort of scoreboard that leads to shock DOs and I wouldn't be surprised  but at the same time I remain confident that it will be Brian and Simon in the DO as both Susan and Ruth will have their pros to thank for keeping them in.
But anything can happen....I'm almost tempted to do a Sid and sneak over to the Dark Side but I will stay strong!!

B4P - would you humour me, and do a running total of everyone's scores to date, from week 1? They did a bit of this on ITT this week, but just did a few people. I thought it would be interesting now that we are over halfway to see where everyone in relation to each other overall.

Purely, on that dance alone it was the right result. We could day that neither should have been in the dance-off (Ruth and Jonnie for me) but there again Aston is not the sort of contestant that should have been on the show for his previous experience so I cannot be too disappointed for him.

A dramatic night though.
