Hello! Been taking Argentine Tango lessons!

Have you got an old rag doll or teddy he can suggle up to in his bed? A piece of your clothing like a scarf or sock put into his bed will also smell familiar. The radio on low worked for ours then we turned it down bit by bit every night.

He has a banket from when he was at the breeders.I thought if I left my jumper it might encourage nibbling of clothes? I have an old jumper Ill use tonight.Our Labrador had five live on for five months!Ive dug out an old radio!

Any puppy update Sax?

I've no news - just wanted to say good luck to all of you living in S England or Wales- hope the storm tonight doesn't turn out as bad as the forecasters are saying.

Hi Jingle

Phew busy busy days with our puppy. I did get to sleep in my bed! We used our large cat carrier in our bedroom & he slept in that! Whining around 5am & I took out & a wee! then on spare bed slept 2 more hours.We then decided to buy a crate 3 days later arrived.He sleeps in there of a night in our room with a dressing gown covering the top.Succesd with sleep wakes 6 to wee & naps again another 90 mins. The crate brought down each day during our meal time his got used to being in there! A few accidents usually when Im away & OH has him.

Poured down with rain last night by 7am calm & just spitting down.We got away with it here so far thou we have got flood warnings in place due to heavy rain.The country roads 1/2 mile diwn road littered with branches! The big house has a branch hanging over the one road split in half! Think we will avoid this route.

Did you get any rain?

Looking forward to a week away.Lots of lovely walks along the moors & coast.Have a log burner to enjoy using & looking forward to breakfast in bed! Puppy having holiday with his mom & brother & sister!

Ooh sounds lovely- you will enjoy a break from your puppy but I bet you will miss him !  

I will & its our first non pet cottage we've ever booked! Always been pet friendly even when we didn't need it.Mortimer has a week of puppy socialising! Our breeder kept two of the pups.Then his first walk out with us when we get back. Crate training fine & he takes himself into crate to sleep in day! Just his anxiety when left alone! Built it up to 45 minutes so far

I love my log burner. One of the best things I ever bought.
The pup will be fine on his hols with his dog family. So long as he can still sense the other dogs are nearby and can smell or even see them, he should still be able to sleep well in his crate.

I hope the cottage has broadband Sax!
We will miss you on here otherwise! 

no broadband so just catching up with all the comments! Had lovely sunny crisp autumn days on the sea front & on the moors.Ive missed you all and all the comments!

Thank You AlL's & Mauve no puppy sloppy kiss yet that's in an hour or two! Had happy purrs from the cats thou So many lovely beaches to take Mortimer too & from 1/10 - 28/2 Free parking most places. Lovely cottage & loved the log burner. Went to Whitby & no queues at The Magpie Cafe bonus!

Yes lots of sloppy kisses & lots of purrs too. We have had two lovely little walks & knows to sit before crossing roads.Just hates noisy buses/lorries atn! He is eager to please & happy to see anyone.
