G'day possums
Great to be back - can't believe we've been in Australia nearly 4 years now and about to apply for citizenship. Still miss SCD and all the extras as our 'Dancing with the Stars' is very parochial by comparison. The series finished a couple of weeks ago and was a delightful distraction through a grim winter here in Adelaide. Even that Italian twit was a guest judge for a couple of weeks (still as annoying as ever) Sadly it was marred by adverts every few minutes and no time to show any professional routines.
Look forward to catching up with the weekly videos on the BBC site and reading the posts from the other dancing nuts old and new on here.

Still love it here. The summers are hot, Spring and Autumn colourful and like a British summer, beaches on our doorstep and surrounded by great wine regions - Barossa, Clare, McLaren Vale etc. What more could you wish for?
The best thing is living near our family and seeing our two granddaughters growing up. There are lots of things we miss from the UK but life is good here and we are lucky to have so many new and exciting things to look forward to at our stage of life.
This year we are flying up to Cairns and the Barrier Reef for Christmas - first Christmas away from home and something we are really looking forward to. Christmas dinner will be on a tropical island beach - yes, prawns on the Barbie

G'day Sadie, good to hear from you again. Glad you're still in for the annual terpsichery Derby:D
Hope you're living the dream out in boomerang and kangaroo land. Also hope you haven't gone over to supporting Ozzie cricket and rugby teams. Keeeeep dancing....
