Kat went to the prop man, to sort us out some hats.
I went off to wardrobe, expecting tails and spats.

Strange -
When I was on the floor, one, stood up to give applause,
And the other, felt it to her core. Didn’t think her feelings could be more.
Claims, of footwork so devine, with a storyline sublime.
Did the villain, look a little bored? With Botox, I’m never really sure.

Fame -
as I flew up the stairs. Hopeful, not so full of cares.
Applause rained, liked droplets through the air, then more praise, whilst waiting in Claud’s lair.
Mid-scoreboard is the twilight zone. The public vote, decides who’s going home.
Scores are in - I start to hold my breath. Is it life, or maybe dance-off death?

you said that I’d done well. From your scores, it’s difficult to tell.
With a 4, an 8 and 8 and 6, ‘Judges Choice’ the weekly Megamix.
Was it costume, music or routine? An ugly lift, that cannot be unseen?
Better go and speed dial all my mates, to avoid the dreaded red-light fate.
