I warmed to Sunetra and Jennifer last night. I thought that the Pasha and Caroline pairing was predictably Pasha! Tim and N athalie seemed genuinely happy, having had a year out last year I was hoping that N at would get someone who had the potential for a long run in the show - not that I am second guessing how Tim might get on - he seemed to have an ok sense of rhythm and seems very enthusiastic. There was no-one who seemed to be displaying 'rabbit in the headlights' or 'what have I done here' reactions in the line-up. A bit sorry that Janette is back, I didnt' think that she showed much promise last year, obviously they have given A liona another chance - Greg will be interesting!!!!

They're not my team name creations, but those suggested so far on twitter, although I did suggest a chant style 'Team Woorara' for Janette Manrara and Jake.

I'm not sure what's going on with Aliona. They ask her back then give her Mr 40 + 10. If the Beeb wasn't keen to re-instate her then why get rid of Anya?

With the introduction of online voting and the growth of social media, I was just thinking about fanbases, voting, who might have a slight cushion, who might struggle etc...

The likes of Frankie, Pixie, Caroline, Scott and Mark have 1 million+ followers on Twitter.

Others like Alison, Jake, Simon, Gregg, have a couple of hundred thousand.

Steve and Sunetra have 17K and 11K respectively (and they don't have the charming older man thing going on like Tim or a comedy partner to fall back on like Judy). So I think they could possibly be in trouble.

Middle of the scoreboard + no huge existing fanbase = potential danger.

Just speculating of course!
