Highs and Lows 2014

One of my highs I forgot

Zoe Ball how well she slotted into the main show! Even the pro dancers seemed more relaxed.

Highs.

Tower Ballroom, as ever.
The contestants and their valiant attempts to make sense of some of the whacko music choices.
Odinary bloke Jake giving it a real good go.
Pixie who was a real breath of fresh air.
Simon's progress in the dance art.
The good level achieved by the finalists.

Lows.
Some of the judging.
Producers meddling in music choices.
The G.B.P (at times)
Probably lots, but my memory isn't what it was.

Highs

1. C.laudia

2. Frankie, Simon, Caroline, Pixie, Sunetra, Mark (and up till Samba, Jake).

3. Judy Murray

4. ITT seemed to listen to viewer's criticisms and then tried to make improvements

5. The live Band, and they sang twice on ITT as well!

6. Some great pro routines

7. Exciting choreography from Pasha, Trent and very occasionally Kevin.


Lows

1. Silly VTs

2. Too many silly themes

3. Producers having too much influence over the music, dances etc..

4. Tens flying around like confetti, and L.en ignoring the lifts until too late

5. S.cott outstaying his welcome, Thom leaving the show too early

6. Loved Natalie, but hampered by a dud celeb

7. Not liking Janette gimmicky choreography for Jake.

Highs

Simon and Kristina's AT
Simon's AT outfit
Frankie's showdance dress
The post final interviews with Zoe a la ITT (But why red button? Still, it's on I-player too, so it's all ok in the end...)

Lows

Simon and Kristina missing out on the glitterball which they deserved for the best strictly j word of 2014
Caroline's horrendous fringed sacks
Frankie not getting a 10 from the fabu-u-lus darling one (her paso surely was as good as anything Caroline did?)
It's the end!

Are we allowed on this forum to discuss the Christmas day show or is this really the end? If it IS the end, then Merry Christmas everybody, it's been as fantastic as usual and I shall miss you all xx
