So it seems Danny's Paso had slightly more rewatch than instant appeal and vice versa for Ore's AS. Laura's Salsa surpringly quite high up on YT tubes.

Interesting too that you get different results- is that the demographic of the users do you think? I'm making an assumption that it's a slightly younger demographic on YT  that's probably not statistically significant, but might explain a higher rating for Laura?
I really wish we still had Kate on the forum, she was so fab with statistics. You are doing a fab job in her absence Sid

I think you're right about the He is. And we obey him. being affected to a degree by demographics alls. I miss Kate too - she was like the Carol Vorderman / Rachel Riley of the forum (in a n.umbers - not dancing - sense).

I expected Ore to top both but didn't expect him to be quite so far ahead of Danny's dazzling QS. Maybe the surprise of how good Ore's Jive was generated a stronger emotional reaction in viewers leading to more likes and more rewatches. (i.e. me!).

Good for Lesley getting the recognition she deserved and Greg faring better than I thought.

It's not long now for Danny to score tens, and I am marking my words here, Danny, however you may think of him, will be the first male celeb in Strictly history to score a ten from C.raig before the semi-final, and he'll also be the celeb who will receive the most tens from the judges.

It's clear from the youtube and fb likes that Anastacia is on borrowed time and Naga was rightfully the one to go. Did you see Naga on Monday ITT exit interview? She was so GUARDED. And that's the most neutral word I can find to describe her. I pity Pasha, I really do, bet he's relieved he's out of his misery now...

I dunno CD. We're so accustomed to the celebs being non-stop jazz hands and bursting into tears every two minutes that when a cooler customer like Naga comes along we perhaps mistake composure for being guarded. I mean I don't think her and Pasha became besties or anything, and I'm glad the interview didn't go on any longer cos it was like pulling teeth towards the end but nor do I don't think it was that terrible an ordeal for Pash!

You're probably right about Danny. Tbh he should've had a few 10s already. I dunno if I can get that worked up about the lack of or abundance of 10s anymore though - so many dished out undeservedly or witheld unfairly over the years, I'm trying to save myself the aggro this year! What bothers me is when 10s are used (or not used) to try and manipulate viewers or to push a particular story. This week, for example, I thought the judges held back on giving Danny 10s because they want to try and create the impression it's not a one-horse race and he's not miles ahead of the rest (as that was what the narrative was quickly becoming - "Danny's too good").

Oh, I just feel Naga's quietness meant Pasha can't break the ice and really let her dance with her soul. She doesn't allow herself to be vulnerable. I don't expect her to cry, not in the way silly Z.oe was trying to do.

Oh, I don't mean I want to see many tens, it's just a hunch that Danny's going to get many tens, whether that's good or not I am not sure at the moment. I am intrigued how well he's going to emulate the dances like he's a SYTYCD contestant, not a 'normal' or typical SCD celeb.

Oh I see what you mean. Yes, I think Naga found it difficult to give herself to the performance, although she did seem more engaged and expressive in the Charleston. I suppose in the old days she'd have been a prime candidate for an acting coach to help her emote more!

Ed is having Cha-cha this week. Jason Gilkilson really didn't like him. Must be props galore and encouraging to be camp and 'funny' again. Yeah, I have gay friends, and they say since Ed is 'vers' (they say that is what 'top' AND 'bottom' means, Sid will definitely know what that means) Ed should 'do Jason a favour' and 'top' him till he begs for mercy...
