Went to DS yesterday to read some of the views - and found a link to Chris Parker's paso on youtube. [/quote]Wallflower wrote:

I had to stomach it live once - back in 2007 I took my Mum to see the SCD tour at the O2 and he was in it - partnered with Nicole Cutler as his own partner was only in the first series (I think?) He was presented as the 'comedy' turn. What else has he done in his career?

Why are DS so hooked on Chris' paso?

I haven't dared look at that clip. I was late to Strictly so didn't see his series. Was it really terrible? Should I watch it?

I hadn't seen it either because I didn't watch SCD then. Only worth watching to see how much things have improved over the years!

Great show tonight and Patrick was really lovely. I have had a bit of a downer on him but I did like some of what they did.
Zoe didn't really push L en on anything controversial (shame!). I do wish they wouldn't keep going on about how this will be the closest final - last year was pretty darn close as well!!!!! The clips of Louis Smith reminded me of what a 'naughty' student he was for F lavia! It's good that we have had two years of close finals and it will make it another exciting night!

Re: It Takes Two 2013
Patrick mentioned about Natalie being in the bottom two though she was the top of the leaderboard, seemingly to hint that that was what happened to him the week before.
L.en wasn't a very good judge to clarify or expand why he gave the scores he did on Saturday. B.runo was all over the place as well, strangely the C.raig did this segment the best, though I may not always agree with him, he was at least consistent and backed up his reasons for scoring what he scored on Saturday...
The filler clip of Louis Smith was meant to be tongue in cheek, I know, but it really made me cringe. Argh.

Re: It Takes Two 2013
Sad that it was the last 'Waites Warm Up' tonight - so glad that Ian is in the 'Christmas Day Special'. I thought that the judges might have picked the Charleston for Sophie and B rendan but overjoyed that they chose the VW which was one of my favourite dances of theirs and for me one of the dances of the series. Nice tactics that the Charleston will be seen (and I know that lots want to see it!) if they get through to the second round. I gulped when I heard that K evin and S usanna would be doing the QS again - that is risky - also I might have been distracted at the time but I did not hear what the music is to be to their Showdance and what they have chosen as their favourite - did I miss it?
Even though I haven't enjoyed the segments about the 'wedding couple' over the weeks I really enjoyed seeing the finished dance and I thought they did really well - it was unexpectedly emotional!
Now here's a thing to consider..................which female celeb will not be in SCD when Natalie Lowe comes back next year?? Someone will have to give way - A liona was the stand-in but I think she is very popular and has been seen a lot in the pro dances - I suppose if the J ordans go the problem won't arise..................

Re: It Takes Two 2013
Yes, I find the wedding dance quite moving. They should have stopped at the ballroom dance though as their cha-cha was a little mincey!
Susanna and Kevin will be doing a showdance to an Elton John's song but it's covered by Ewan McGregor in the musical film Moulin Rouge? From the training clip it looked like a ballroom based dance with lots of pivots like the waltz they did, which looked lovely.
I will miss Karen Hardy and Ian Waite!
As for who Natalie is going to replace, I heard the Jordans are not returning next year...

A lot of tweets advise the Jordan's not doing the SCD tour or have renewed contracts.I like Aliona & prefer her to stay. This leaves either Janette or Anya as last in first to go? Id like to see Natalie back.Missed ITT as fell asleep getting up for an hour worn me out

Hope you are tucked up in bed now Sax - and hopefully feel a little bit better tomorrow
Thanks Cellar Door - can't think what track it is from Moulin Rouge- did you catch what Susanna and K evin will do for their favourite dance? Would love to see the paso again.

Yes, they are doing their paso if they are voted through to the final three:

Re: I Takes Two
Great clip Cellar Door - I really enjoyed the film although it seems a long time ago that I saw it and I had forgotten about 'Your Song'!
The choice of this track is a real masterstroke - I'm sure people will love it and I can see them doing a sort of American Smooth show dance to this - it looked a bit like it from the clip didn't it? Hopefully it will show Susanna at her best.

Did I mishear or have they actually listened to us? I'm sure I heard them say there's an ITT on red button after the final- at last!!!

Nope it's true Alls, red button after the main show to talk to the winners and runners-up. I think it's a good compromise for those who want a post-final ITT

Gosh, thanks so much for highlighting that Allsewn - I didn't realise. That's great news - they do a red-button forum after Formula 1 races, and it's always good fun. I hope that Claudia is invited onto it too.

Manic
and on a loop 2nd time is just as manic
but a good idea from the BBC, now all we need is ITT on the Monday after.

I seem to be suffering from grouchitis at the moment, but I'm finding the whole show somewhat predictable and boring. Is it just me and do I need a holiday?

I'm on holiday! Sitting in the sunshine just walked 5 miles and enjoying a glass of Soave! Yorkshire brilliant. Think Mr T after your hard work on the sshhh top secret thing you need a holiday!
However it does feel a bit samey ITT! Let's have a fans forum one night a week, a sow case new UK talent from shows in the UK! Let's have a fresh face say Artem on link up each week.
