I always had Gio down as a Latin boy, but he is very elegant and classy ballroom boy - Kevin looks dumpy and clunky by comparison (but he IS a latin boy!). Joanne has always been strictly ballroom and her and Gio make a very good parnership.

This was also beauteous and a joy to watch - sophisticated and emotional in the right degree.  

I wish we had more classy ballroom routines like this on Strictly - a lyrial story told purely by dance with maybe a simple prop like the chair but without all the bells and whistles and unnecessary gizmos which detract, rather than add, to the dance.

I think they just spent money on making the famous park bench automated D&P. Better expect it to be around for a while.

Who'd have thought that Joanna's pink marigold gloves could be so active? Reminded me of the fiary tale 'red shoes'.
I think I agree with Vincent, that when he does a Tango, particularly the A. Tango, he prefers to wear a proper jacket to set the scene. Gio looked the part in his stark suit with the matching pink accents. Now I'm tempted to buy tickets to see him & Luba in one of their dance shows.

I'm hoping Neil, Johannes, and Luba all get invited back, and have a celeb next year.

Awww sad to hear that Pasha is leaving the show, he's been one of my favourite pros since he joined. I hope it was his decision and not a Brendan-style exit.

If there's to be a silver lining, I really hope Johannes is brought in to fill the gap.

Indeed sad news. He was a great stalwart of the show. I don't see anything sinister in it as he states it was time to look for fresh challenges so sounds like it is his decision. Besides I could not see them axing another long-term pro-dancer so soon after Brendan.
