If Vanessa Feltz is to take part it is a nailed on cert she will be partnered by An.ton. For some reason they always insist An.ton takes on the series buffoon type dancer. That tells me that the so-called draw isn't a draw at all but each partnership is selected.

Isn't Julien Macdonald the rather exuberant (to put it mildly) fashion expert from ITT who talked endlessly about 'godets godets godets' ?  I know some people found him irritating, but he made me laugh....would love to see him as a contestant.

None of those I listed earlier have really caught my imagination as in that none stand out as ones that I'd be rooting for.

Dave the Hairy Biker Im excited to watch as he always seems enthusiastic!!! Feltz I feel be a good tonic & Ben Cohen be lovely eye candy!!! The rest meh!!

Also Carry On star Barbra Windsor has turned down the chance due to health reasons.

Also just to add that this series will have a record amount of couples competing of 15.

Ooh sounds either double eviction in the first fortnight & in the middle of the series? 15 too many as you don't get to know the couples who are evicted early on! & the wild horse couples the Widdy/sergants stay in far too long

I don't think the amount of couples taking part will stop the clown couples hanging around or early talent being eliminated. The British public tend to keep the Widdecombe's and Sargeant's in for comedic value irrespective of if we had 5,10 or 15 couples to start with.

My pulse isn't racing yet. Vanessa confirmed. A lot of others are smokescreens IMO. Michael Owen has just started doing the footie commentary though I actually would have liked to see him have a go. JLS have said no due to their farewell tour.
Unfortunately I don't watch soaps or "reality" shows so most of the others I don't know.

Oh well. I am sure they have a few shocks in store. I wonder if they are announcing 1 a day??

I would like to see Michael Owen as well thou he would have to work round football schedules! IMO the BBC staying stum to make it a surprise!? the zzzx mmm I mean interesting line up this year! I don't mind Vanessa she says it how it is!! Would love to see more upcoming actors on SCD!!

I also suspect that after Harry and Louis, the young male will be more of a Gavin Henson than a contender. Big no to Janice Dickinson from me. She would be a Nancy.

Becky Adlington has said she wants to do it so she would not be a surprise. Perhaps Airmiles Andy and Fergie could be a royal connection.
