Is it that time of year already! Pleased to hear the first two signings - I wonder when the launch show will be.

Great to see this forum is still up and running - for one reason and another I didn't see a lot of last years' Strictly (I can't even remember who won) but will definitely be following it this year.

Hope there's another name released tomorrow. I wonder will there be any former MPs (maybe an ex Lib Dem)

I think Ainsley will be great. He has rhythm and doesn't take himself too seriously. I wonder if it's a female reveal tomorrow?

Alex Jones on the One Show said it was due to start in Sept. The Pros are practising the opening He is. And we obey him. from this week.

Hope she has a light Eastenders workload. The actors from there always seem to fizzle out with the double workload

This series has come round really quick, doesn't seem like 8 months since Caroline won.

I'm looking forward to seeing Ainsley do the Salsa, Samba, and Charleston as you say B4P he has the rhythm.

Kellie Bright - I don't watch soaps so she is an unknown to me.

Years ago she was in the upper hand, a sitcom, with Joe mcgann. She was about 12 at the start of it I think

Hi again everyone! Hope you're all well

So here we go again...

Not feeling quite as enthused about Strictly this year. I think it's probably down to some of the names I've heard rumoured and the loss of Iveta and Trent whom I liked very much. I'd have been less fussed if O.la and A.nton (yes, A.nton!) had gone. Bit jaded by those two.

As for the names announced so far...

Ainslee and Jeremy - both inoffensive but don't exactly grab me.

Georgia May Foote and Katie Derham - likewise.

Kellie Bright - the 8-year-old in me's very happy she's taking part. I loved watching Kellie in a children's program called T-Bag! And also The Upper Hand.

I just hope the rumours about Michelle Heaton, Jamelia and Peter Andre are false....but I'm not holding my breath!

Waiting for a name that intrigues me.

I've got everything crossed that Carol Kirkwood will be part of the line-up.

Afternoon all, not long to wait now.

The new celebs seem to be the usual mix of has beens, wannabes and soap stars. Not that I mind one tiny bit. I don't care who they choose because one of the joys of Strictly is getting to know the new celebs and dancers and the chemistry between them. I do hope the new line up doesn't get slated too much on twitter and the like, there's no need for it.

I heard a rumour that the blond girl from Call the Midwife will be appearing, I hope so, she's lovely.

In my experience in Strictly celebs it is the lesser known ones that are more down-to-earth whilst the big names are more odious so I don't give a jot if outsiders who don't watch say:'Who?' For me it is not about how popular/famous the celebrity is it is more about watching them learn and grow as a dancer and what sort of character they have.

I still reckon Ruth & Eammon might get wheeled out. I can't see Eammon being fit enough to last 5 minutes.

I heard Suzy (the Formula 1 reporter) saying about 8 months ago that she wouldn't mind taking part in the show at some point.

Peter Andre is big mates with the Jordans. The paper's report him saying that he'd told O la that he'd be dancing with her on the show one day. A carrot to keep O la, or just another red herring?
