Although his singing isn't my cup of tea at all, I'm looking forward to Zoe interviewing him on ITT, he can be quite funny.

Seems a good, varied line-up so far.....anticipation is mounting! Wonder who the sports person/people will be.

No doubt I'll find something/someone to moan about when it starts. Jeremy Vine is hovering in sight of the cross-hairs already.....

My initial reaction is it's not a stellar line-up but a few I don't mind....Helen, Kellie, Jay, Anita, Iwan.

Others may win me over as the series progresses. We'll see.

Well, I think it's a pretty good line-up. I'd heard of all the men, but only two of the women (Carol and Jamelia). Carol, I love her on breakfast TV and I think she'll be one of my favourites. Jamelia was a bit of a PITA on the Bear Gryllis survival show.....though I expect she'll be better at dancing than camping.

You're right Jingle, the pair of them will outdo Mark Wright on the cheeseball front!

From that list my firm favourite is Carol Kirkwood. I also hope Kirsty Gallagher, Iwan Thomas,Ainsley Harriott and Jeremy Vine do well. I am sure once the series gets under way lesser known celebs (to me) will grow on me and I'll not have my time for singers who tend to have a head start as they have an advantage of knowledge of musicality plus rhythm - key in dancing and some will have danced before.

That made me laugh. I don't mind who's who, no expectations at this point, although some will have a different starting position to others.

Just by chance, I was in a shop looking at some secondhand books with my old mum  today. I picked up a book with a picture of Daniel O'Donnell on the cover and showed it her:

"Is he still alive?"

"I hope so, he's doing Strictly"

Looking forward to The Vine, Ainsley, Ewan, and The Midwife, and Kirsty. I did groan when I heard Peter Andre on due to the ongoing spit for spat who can hog publicity air time between him and the ex KP! Interesting to see Jamelia and Carol in the line up. Mr singing Jumper surely have the Grandma vote (similar to the followers of Mrs Doyle in Father Ted)
