Hi poppet

others fans asking Artem the same thing on twitter but no reply from him yet. There is a training video on youtube for their waltz but I can't work the snippet of music that is played right at the end. I'll keep watching and let you know if I see any news.

mmmm! Some great tracks this week - I really like the sound of it. 'Let there be Love' was my wedding song - we entered the Register Office to it - but I 'm sure it was used last year or the year before - I agree with Sax we are seeing a lot of repeat tracks this year and from not very far back - If they are going to do repeats, let some of the classics that we heard on the first few series have another outing!

John Paul Young's "Love is in the Air" one of my all-time feel-good favourites. Love it. End song from the Strictly Ballroom film. .

Meatloaf is not my idea of a Paso-Doble number.  Need something with reel beef,  as in half a ton of mad bull, and somebody holding  a cape, not a silk scarf. Bad choice for me. La Virgen del la Macarena (the bull-fighters hymn is what they should play....They never will of course, but they should. Wink

You re welcome mauve study

I'm not sure that Pasha's song is cha-cha music. Seems the wrong rhythm to me? I thought Rachel was struggling enough with right, left, arms, legs, straight or bent legs, not to mention her core. A song with a more traditional rhythm would surely would have helped her a bit more to find the beat?

I don't mind the Samba choices.
I would have liked to have seen BOOM BOOM Dave dance to one of the traditional Paso tunes.
I love John Denver's Annie's song, it reminds me of a V.Waltz
It'll be interesting to see if a male or female singer sings "Make you feel my Love', one of Dylan's finest. I like Bryan Ferry's version
I miss the traditional Tango and Paso music. Perhaps they're saving that for Halloween themes.

I think this week will see the widening of the gaps between the couples. Confidence issues for Fiona, Abby and Ben. A disconnect between brain and body for Vanessa, Rachel and Dave.

I do love the song "Love is in the air" I cannot recall the name of the music E.rin & Austin used for their Paso? Meatliaf Im not sure of at all.Weird how how the music choices change! Rachel did seem more Bambi! & Suzanna will she overcome her dizzy spells! I loved Abbey using the phrase " I hadn't got a cob on!"

"Love Is In The Air" is such a happy, optimistic, hopeful song. It'll please the audience. Good choice!

And the other one I think will capture the viewer's hearts is "Annie's Song".

Really I can take or leave anything by Rihanna - her songs tend to merge into one in my mind for some reason!

Yes, she did. I have a feeling that she went out the week she came back, though (not sure). I think that it was missing almost 2 weeks practice due to the chicken pox so her dancing wasn't great, plus the fact that neither she nor Jared seemed to have much personal support that did for her.

Ha! You a bit squiffy B4 drunken

"Yeah" by Usher for a Quickstep?! Sounds so wrong but who knows, Artem could make it work.....sometimes his risks do come off, other times I'm left thinking WTF?!

"Mercy" by Duffy is a bit Series 6!

But some nice choices amongst those as well Smile

Not sure that The Black Crowes is what I imagine as Salsa? What do I know? Nada

I like Imelda May but I'm not sure how Rachel will cope with the quickstep. She seems a bit unco-ordinated to me.

Ta and wow. Some inspired / borderline crazy choices in there...

I like the sound of:

Ashley and O.la will be Jiving to ‘Johnny B Goode’ by Chuck Berry.
Sophie and Brendan will Cha Cha Cha to Michael Jackson’s ‘PrettyYoung Thing’.
Susanna and Kevin will perform the American Smooth to Tony Bennett’s ‘Sunny Side of The Street’.
Natalie and Artem will Samba to the Gypsy King’s ‘Bomboleo’.

and I'm genuinely wondering how this is going to work...

Deborah and Robin are going to Viennese Waltz to James Brown’s ‘It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World’.

I liked it when Maneater was used before by Darren. Not sure if that was for a Paso or a Tango. Always love the Gipsy Kings. Not sure about "Apologise", it doesn't feel like a waltz to me or "Dear Darlin" for a Foxtrot. An ton & Kevin's choices are spot on I think. Like Kristina's choice. One or two of the others I'll have to check on Youtube as they're SO memorable!
